Description

September 30, 1973, with camera in hand, off to Yankee Stadium I went. It would be the last game in the old ballpark before the wrecking ball and transformation into a new ballpark. The original plans a complete teardown. Only little did the planners know that the walls were constructed from newly invented concrete by no other than Edison. The plans had to undergo a dramatic design change and construction. This is the second image of what will be many from that 'Last Game.'
