Artist's Description
Once-upon-a-upon-a--time not so long ago all Chicago Cubs home games were only afternoon affairs On a Monday. July 25,1977 was such a day; every major league team was playing at night and the cubbies in the afternoon. Years later Sports Illustrated Magazine did a cover with an image much like this.
About Paul Plaine
John Naggy's learn to draw kits and his weekly TV show put Paul on a path. That path led to an art company and a 37-year career in advertising, doing artwork on ads for major ad campaigns, publishing, and the music industry. Along, that journey photography also became a significant part of his career. In 2006 I retired early and opened a fine art printing studio to work on my photos and bring my photography, digital, printmaking skills to local artists. Now on to chapter three.

Thank you - the scoreboard still looks pretty much the same - but there have been a lot of changes at Wrigley - biggest change being the lights. The end of an era when the lights went up.
